The Theog town is situated at a distance of 32 km. from Shimla on the National Highway-22 which is called Hindustan-Tibet road.This town is situated between Longitude 77’28 East and Latitude 31’60 North. The main town of Theog is relatively plane/hill area. It has an area of about 4 Sq. Km. The town has the sub Tropical climate and characterized by moderate climate in summer as well as winter. However, snowfall in winter for geologically the town is located in seismic zone IV. It has sedimentary rock formation.
